Stefano Langone went home last week, and so we’re down to the final 6.
Let’s see how it will go as the final 6 will be pairing off to do some duets from Carole King aside from their solo performances.
Jacob Lusk sang Oh No Not My Baby
For me, it sounds like a mess! Steven thinks though that it was beautifully done. J-Lo said that it was a tricky song and there were some imperfections. Randy said that the scatting was incredible but there were some errors.
Lauren Alaina sang Where You Lead (I Will Follow)
It was cool! But Lauren needs to work on her attitude on stage. She brought a fan from the audience which sat with her on the stage as she sang. Steven said that she shone tonight. Randy said she came out with like a swagger with vengeance.
Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart sang I Feel The Earth Move
They do not have the harmony but they had that vibe going! I like this performance and I am loving Haley! Steven loves their performance.
Scotty McCreery sang You Got A Friend
Safe song for Scotty as it fits his voice. I enjoyed this version than the original one. Steven liked it. Randy said it was done flawlessly. J-Lo said that Scotty’s strength was storytelling.
James Durbin sang Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
Looks like he’s trying to make a David Cook in here! He turned a slow, love song into a more rock version this time! J-Lo enjoyed it and calls it the best of the night. Randy said it was the best of the season and that he might win the whole thing. Steven said it was the first song he made out to! Hahaha!
Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery sang Up On The Roof
I did not see much connection with this pair. Anyway, Lauren was definitely the star in this duet and Scotty do not exists! J-Lo said, Lauren sang her brains out.
Casey Abrams sang Hi-De-Ho (That Old Sweet Roll)
This guy is so musically inclined! Steven said it was beautifully done. J-Lo said Casey was in his element. Randy said it sounds like the song was written for Casey.
Haley Reinhart sang Beautiful
I love her performance! J-Lo said it was beautiful and that she has the best voice to show! Randy thinks the beginning was not really good but Haley ended the song very well. Steven loves it too!
James Durbin and Jacob Lusk sang I’m Into Something Good
James got some Grease thing going on! It seems that James is more comfortable and confident on stage than Jacob. Steven said it looked like they were having fun, but surprisingly he also said that it was not that good at all!
MY BOTTOM THREE
It was a great night with some notable performances. The best performance for me was Haley’s. Lauren was nice also and James might be safe again this week. For the duet, James and Jacob made a lasting impression, but vocally, I think it was Lauren and Scotty (technically).
My bottom three will be Jacob, Casey, and Haley. Haley may be booted out because of the small amount of fans that she have.
Come on! It's Jacob who will be going home next! We all love Haley! :)
