World’s Smallest Rodent

Do you know that the smallest rodent living in this world is Pygmy Jerboa (Salpingotus crassicauda)? It is found in countries like China, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. Its natural habitats are temperate grasslands and temperate desert. It is also threatened by habitat loss.
This living organism grows up to 1 inch only, and they eat many leafy greens, nuts and small insects. They get most of their water intake from the food that they consume. However they will drink water if they can find it.
And the other interesting fact is that it can run as fast as a horse.
